The Canadian Pacific Railyards will undergo a thorough planning process including numerous opportunities for meaningful public participation. The CP Intermodal development lands will be planned in a manner that respects the architectural significance and vision of the Warehouse District and is connected with the downtown and surrounding areas. It is anticipated that the neighbourhood will become one of Canada’s most vibrant neighbourhoods and include:

  • New additions to the area to complement its historic look
  • A mix of housing options
  • More possibilities for stores, restaurants, and entertainment
  • A pedestrian walkway linking to downtown Regina and other close-by neighbourhoods
  • Area residents and businesses to help shape the new plan for the neighbourhood
